Betty’s adventure in health care began in 2003 after the death of her husband; She wanted to find a job that was enjoyable. Betty was a manager for several years at a local fast food store in Marvell Arkansas. Cleaning is one of her passions, so she applied for employment as a housekeeper at one of the largest hospitals in Little Rock, Arkansas. After working there one year she devoted her time mastering the skills of Housekeeping and Floor Care. In 2004 I was promoted to supervisor over the 5
th, 6th, and 7
th floor. After working at the hospital for several years I decided to take on a supervisor position at the second largest hospital in Little Rock Arkansas.
In 2007 she was given the additional challenge of promoting quality, patient satisfaction, and employee empowerment in the performance of their jobs.
In September 2010, Betty was promoted to manager of the linen and housekeeping department at a community hospital in Jacksonville Arkansas. Betty has enjoyed the challenges of promoting quality, employee’s motivation, and taking training to a new level. She been in housekeeping for over 8 years and is proud to be a part of Our Company.
Betty is enrolled at the University of Phoenix, She completed four years of study and will receive her Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration in June 2012.
